Pope Scientific to Exhibit at the 2026 ISPE Boston Product Show
Pope Scientific will exhibit at the 2026 ISPE Boston Product Show on Wednesday, October 7, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The annual event brings together pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals from across manufacturing, engineering, process development, quality, and operations to explore technologies and solutions for the life sciences industry. We’re at Booth E106.

Pope will showcase two laboratory-scale processing technologies designed to support research, process development, and scale-up: a Benchtop Nutsche Filter Dryer and a 2-inch Wiped Film Distillation Unit.
Benchtop Nutsche Filter Dryer
Pope’s Benchtop Nutsche Filter Dryer provides an integrated approach to solid-liquid separation and drying in a compact laboratory-scale system. Designed for research, process development, and small-scale processing, the unit combines filtration and drying capabilities in a single vessel.
The benchtop Nutsche provides capabilities including vacuum or pressure filtration, filter cake washing, and drying in a single closed vessel. It provides a practical platform for developing and evaluating processes before moving to larger-scale equipment.
Pope also manufactures Nutsche Filter Dryers in larger pilot and production scales, allowing processes developed at the laboratory level to transition to larger equipment using the same fundamental technology. This range of sizes supports applications from small-scale process development through commercial manufacturing.
2-Inch Wiped Film Distillation
Pope will also showcase its 2-inch laboratory-scale Wiped Film Distillation unit, demonstrating technology for the purification and separation of heat-sensitive materials. Wiped film distillation provides short residence times and efficient heat transfer, making it well suited for applications involving thermally sensitive or high-boiling materials.
The 2-inch system is part of Pope’s broader range of Wiped-Film and Short-Path Distillation equipment, including laboratory, pilot, and production-scale systems. Equipment can be configured for applications ranging from laboratory process development to continuous industrial processing, providing a path for customers to scale their processes as production requirements grow.
From Laboratory Development to Production
With more than 60 years of experience in chemical processing equipment, Pope Scientific provides technologies that support the progression from laboratory research and process development to pilot-scale evaluation and production processing. By offering multiple equipment sizes and configurations, Pope can help customers apply proven processing technologies as their requirements evolve.
